Foundation Council elections for the period of office 2023 to 2026

Who will be elected?

The Foundation Council is the supreme body responsible for the strategy and financial stability of the pension fund. Among other things, it determines the investment strategy, the organisation and the contributions and benefits of comPlan. The members of the Foundation Council also participate in comPlan's working groups and committees. The Foundation Council consists of 14 members, half of whom are employee representatives and half employer representatives. 


For the period of office from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2026, 7 employee representatives are to be newly elected or re-elected to the Foundation Council. The election will take place from 12 September to 25 September 2022.

Election proposals

Election proposals and election acceptance confirmations can be submitted from Tuesday, 7 June 2022 until Friday, 8 July 2022 via the digital voting tool. The following persons are entitled to do so:


  • Active insured members of comPlan
  • Representatives of trade unions or staff associations who are contractual partners of a comPlan-affiliated employer company and can prove that employees of comPlan-affiliated employer companies are their members.


We will send you the access data for the digital voting tool by post after 7 June 2022.


Each election proposal list must be confirmed electronically in the digital voting tool by at least 100 authorised voters within the proposal period (7 June to 8 July 2022).


The nomination platform is available between
7 June to 8 July 2022.



Procedure of the election

The election will take place electronically via the digital voting tool and will be held from 12 to 25 September 2022. You will receive your personal access data by post at the latest at the beginning of the election period.


The election will be held according to the proportional representation system. This means that you first elect the electoral list of your choice and then the candidates. You may double names in the same list (cumulate), or select or delete names from more than one electoral list (panachage). You have a maximum of 7 votes at your disposal. You can cast a maximum of 2 votes per candidate. Empty places on the list count as votes for the electoral list. 


Elections are held in accordance with comPlan's election regulations and are conducted anonymously by an independent service provider specialising in online elections.
