What should I do if my account details change?

Do you receive a pension from comPlan? Then we need your current account details so that our pension payments reach you reliably. You are responsible for ensuring that your account details are correct. Please inform us of any changes in good time.

How can I report a change of account details?

If you receive a pension, please inform comPlan of your new account details. The easiest way to do this is to click on the corresponding button in comPlan Online or via the contact form on this page. Alternatively, you can send us your new account details by post. For your own safety, we do not accept changes to the account details by telephone.

Note
You can see which account details are listed with comPlan in comPlan Online.

What information does comPlan need to know?

To ensure that our pension payments reach you on time, we need your current account number in IBAN format. This IBAN number begins with a two-digit country code (for Switzerland, for example, with "CH..."). The account must be in your name. (Other persons as co-owners are allowed.)

If you receive a pension from comPlan, your bank or the post office may return the pension payment to us if the address does not match. In addition, your place of residence may have an impact on the amount of the pension payment because comPlan has to deduct a withholding tax from your pension. Therefore, please also refer to our information on change of address.

By when do I have to notify comPlan of my new account details?

If you want us to take the changed account details into account for the next transfer, comPlan must receive your notification at least three working days before the payment date. You can find the exact pension payment dates here.

Will comPlan also pay out my pension to an account abroad?

Yes, at your request we will also pay your pension into an account at a bank or post office outside Switzerland. Payments from comPlan are always made in Swiss francs. Please note that your financial institution abroad may charge you fees for receiving the money. You will also be charged for any losses incurred when converting into another currency.
