Sustainability

Responsible investment

The consideration of sustainability criteria is an important component in the management of investments. Accordingly, comPlan attaches importance to approaching the topic of sustainability holistically. The sustainability efforts support the fulfilment of the legal mandate of the occupational pension scheme to achieve a return in line with the market with an appropriate distribution of risk. comPlan focuses on measures that have a high impact according to current research. In particular, comPlan attaches great importance to direct investments with explicit sustainability objectives and to dialogue with companies (so-called engagement).

Asset manager selection process

The securities business (portfolio management) is delegated to external asset managers whom comPlan carefully selects, instructs and monitors. In the search for a clearly defined asset management mandate, the investment office follows a standardised selection process with an objective evaluation. When we are contacted by potential asset managers , their contact details and core areas of expertise are entered in a list.
